The job of a grant administrator (recipient) is to ensure and oversee that the grants received should be properly utilized according to the conditions and responsibilities associated with the grants. A grant administrator (recipient) is employed in non profit organizations and foundations, colleges, museums, communities, scientists and charities, to mention some, often get funded with financial grants. Grant Administrator Education and Qualifications

  • The candidate should have at least a BS degree in any field
  • Candidate should have done a post-graduate certificated study in grant management from the national Grants Management Association (NGMA), taking one of three tracks – federal, pass through and recipient tracks.
  • The candidate will surely get an advantage if he or she has any past experience or of 2-4 years of experience in related discipline (charity, healthcare, research, etc) can substitute for college degree.
