The job of a HR analyst is basically related to the human resources as the name sounds. He or she may work in a specific area like employees’ performance and recruitments. He or she has to analyze the human resource related activities in the company such as employee performance, salaries, conducting consumer surveys and human resource budgets..

HR analyst duties and responsibilities

As it is the job related to the human resources so it consist a number of duties and responsibilities and they are as follows:

  • COMPILING THE INFORMATION: He or she has to compile the information regarding human resource in the company or the organization.
  • CONDUCTING SURVEYS: it will be the duty to conduct the surveys in order to ascertain the requirements of the client base
  •  DEVELOP THE PLANS TO UTILIZE THE RESOURCES: He or she has to develop plans to utilize the resources of the company towards better customer satisfaction
  • ANALYZE THE BUDGET: He or she has to do the work related to the budgets so will have to analyze the annual budgets of the human resource department
  • ANALYZE PROJECTS: He or she has to analyze the human resource projects time to time.
  • IDENTIFY AND RECOMMENED CHANGES: He or she has to identify the requirement of improvement and then will have to recommend the new policies and strategies of the human resource department
  • IMPLEMENT THE STRATIGIES: It will be the duty to implement the strategies also so will have to take steps to implement planned strategies
  • KEEP TRACK RECORD: He or she will be needed to keep the track records of the performance of employees
  • WORKING WITH OTHER DEPARTMENT: He or she has to work with other departments also so it will be very necessary to maintain the coordination with them in order to assess human resource performance

HR analyst skills and specifications

The skills and specifications needed to be a HR analyst are as follows:

  • The prime required skill in the candidate is that the candidate should have good analytical abilities.
  • Good communication and writing skills is a mandatory quality that a human resource analyst should possess.
  • He or she needs to organize everything so should possess good organization skills
  • The candidate should necessarily have good knowledge about human resource information system (HRIS)
  • He or she will have to do the data related work so the candidate must have the ability to organize data and distinguish confidential data
  • He or she should possess very good interpersonal skills
  • The candidate should have extraordinary computer skills to do the job perfectly.

HR analyst education and qualification

The education and qualification required for the job of a HR analyst are:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resource management with training in human resource information system
  • The candidate having the degree of  master’s in human resource management is recommended for good future prospects
  • The candidate having the experience of five years in HR management before recruiting will be the most required candidate.

  • The average salary of a HR analyst is $50,000 per annum.
