A banking retail officer’s job involves selling retail products and services to the bank customers but it is not done as direct sales, rather done in a subtle manner when customers walk into the bank. The retail officer first finds out what the customer’s financial goals are and what strategy he has in place. Based on that, the banking retail officer presents the products and services to the customer. The retail officer also brings new customers into the fold of the retail bank by different methods.
