The Property Assessment is responsible for the supervision of appraisers and support staff and primarily responsible for the daily operations of the group as well. The property assessment Supervisor supervises the work of staff engaged in property ownership transfer as well as assessment of residential and business properties for tax purposes.

Duties and responsibilities

A property assessment supervisor needs to fulfill a wide variety of duties and responsibilities as it needs the significance in the candidate and here are those duties which are expected to be fulfilled as follows:

  • The prime responsibility is to oversee the tasks of the staff and has to plan, organize and evaluate work of clerical, technical and professional staff
  • The responsibility also includes appraisal and audit of residential, business, commercial, agricultural and mineral properties
  • He or she needs to do listen to the reviews of title transfer and exemption of claims related to the property.
  • It will be needed to work as a supervisor in the preparation of various appraisals, audits and appeals; approves property cost estimates.

  • He or she has the duty to monitor closely the progress through compilation of data and meetings as well as the projects.
  • He or she needs to create procedures and laws to standardize daily operations perfectly with the transparency.

  • He or she needs to identify the changes and then recommend improvement and changes in property tax administration procedures and other related field.
  • He or she will be responsible for selecting suitable candidates to be hired in the organization.
  • He or she needs to oversee the requirements of the staff and then try to fulfill it such as training requirements, evaluation of employees and the need for disciplinary actions for unit staff as well.

Education and Qualification
