A building maintenance supervisor has to supervise and perform repairing, installation and overall maintenance of the projects. Building Maintenance supervisor oversees a staff of skilled as well as semi-skilled workers in maintenance duties and tasks, and may likewise supervise contract workers in the performance of janitorial and custodial tasks; performs various maintenance tasks and other related duties as required.

Duties and responsibilities

There are a number of duties and responsibilities which have to be fulfilled by a building maintenance supervisor as follows:

  • The supervisor has the responsibility to diagnose the existing problems and initiates needed action when needed.
