A university president is the one who supposed to head the state university. The person needs to fulfill the academic, operational and administrative position.  The job entails compiling with the conventions and standards promulgated by the state’s Board of Regents. It will be also the responsibility to oversee the work and tasks and the operations of the various College Deans and operational departments like security, building maintenance, accounting, HR, etc.

  • The duty involves the fund raising work and needs to develop, approve and implement fund raising programs and campaigns.
  • There are many other basic jobs to fulfill such as delegating functions authorized by the Board of Regents except as ex-officio member of the Board.
