A dental assistant is basically a professional who has the main duty to assist the dentist in the number of jobs. He or she has to work under the guidance and supervision of a professional dentist. The dental assistant has the duty to get the equipment ready for procedures, tests and other procedures, and helps the dentist while conducting the dental treatments on the patients.   • The dental assistant is responsible for the up-to-date records of all the patients.

  • He or she should obtain certification to start working as a dental assistant.
