The Podiatrist is the one who is specialized in accessing and treating the problems related to the infections, defects and injuries that occur on the foot and lower leg. He or she has to basically treat the foot and knee. The main responsibility is to manage the lower extremity diseases. He or she also has to carry out different types of minor in-office procedures and also responsible for the number of surgeries which require anesthesia. It is also the responsibility to offer preventative care to special community groups which are highly vulnerable.

  • He or she ahs to deliver the education on foot health to the homeless, elderly, children etc.
  • It will be also needed to maintain the coordination with the medical professionals like the doctors, nurses etc with full amount of coordination.
  • It is the responsibility to understand the entire mechanics of foot and the entire body for the successful movement of the body.
  • He or she has to use a wide range of the equipments, dressings for carrying out with the treatment process with complete success.
