An ‘Airline Equipment Handler’ is primarily responsible for making it sure that each aircraft that leaves the hook is in a perfect condition and is completely safe for flying. This is a job profile that really demands a serious and dedicated person as it is the matter of hundreds of lives onboard.
Duties and Responsibilities –
- Loading & unloading the different kinds of materials on or off the airplanes and supporting vehicles
- Helping passengers regarding their luggage & parcels queries
- Receiving & delivering parcels and mails at the airport
- Moving luggage to the respective airlines at the time of take-offs and landings
- Performing different duties assigned by the management
- Watching safety while handling baggage for avoiding accidents
Skills and Specifications –
- Should have good telephonic skills and, be able to run a two way radio system
- Good communication skills
- Should be physically fit to carry out numerous physical tasks frequently
- Should be always alert and dedicated as it is a very sensitive job profile
- Should be sincere and reliable
Educational Qualification –
- High school diploma/GDE level of education
- 1 year truck driving experience
