A Cruise Ship Director is the person behind all kinds of planning and activities on a ship, from boarding to entertainment.

The cruise director is responsible for supervising the ship and everything happening onboard. The director requires organizing the social events onboard. The job profile involves taking care of the admin duties and handling passengers’ queries and helping them out with their requests.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • To direct the different kinds of services onboard.
  • Taking care of the passengers and serving them in the best possible way to make them feel comfortable
  • To ensure that the passengers have complete enjoyment onboard
  • To manage and supervise all the section of the ship to have a safe and happy sea journey
  • To organize the daily reports and various information related to the ship operations
  • To maintain the log reports and important events in the cruise.
  • Managing the whole staff and their duty schedules
  • Planning and organizing different entertainment events onboard.
