A Ship Captain is the ‘in charge’ of the operations of a cruise ship. He/she is responsible for maintaining the logs pertaining to the course and speed of the vessel, weather conditions and other related factors. A captain is required to manage the crew, loading & unloading of passengers’ baggage & cargos. He/she is also responsible for recruitments. The captain of a ship is the head of the ship, he/she has the power to make all the decisions. He handles the entire crew and manages the overall operations.
