A reservation agent fulfills a very responsible and vital job as he or she is responsible for providing information to customers by use of telephone and other communication media. They may be employed by various agencies involved in reserving travel places for travelers. He or she has to provide the information about fare details, tours, schedules, meals, and other important issues that affect clients. The person must be well equipped with computer skills. He or she needs to contact clients through telephone conversation and back them up with a variety of reservation software on computers.
