A Bankruptcy Attorneys is a lawyer who has expertise in handle managing personal and corporate bankruptcy cases (voluntary and involuntary) on both sides of court litigation. They protect the assets of an organization against creditors when a personal or corporate financial difficulty arises. They protect creditor’s interest for debt collection on the other side.

Bankruptcy Attorney Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Explaining clients on filing for protection under bankruptcy law on the consequences and implications and, providing options and guiding on procedural requirements

  • Must have a vast experience in legal proceeding about corporate or personal bankruptcy litigations.
  • Must have excellent organizational and law practicing skills.
  • Must have excellent grip on the bankruptcy codes.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bankruptcy Attorney Education and Qualifications –

  • A bachelor law degree to practice law in the state
  • At least 12-15 years of work experience in corporate laws for a bank or creditor is required
