The Manufacturing process engineers are the professionals who perform the technical duties in an organization. They are involved in the development of business processes to improve the efficiency and increase the profits of a manufacturing facility. They are involved in the overall process design and, they suggest procedures for manufacturing improvement, and increase productivity & profits, and control the manufacturing costs.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Working in coordination with the marketing and product design teams to build a manufacturing process for the new product
  • Working with the equipment designers to develop a cost-effective and efficient production process of the new product
  • Establishing the detailed specifications and execute production plans
  • Performing tests on systems for improving efficiency and accuracy for achieving a quality and cost-effective production procedure successfully
  • Managing the process design projects and ensuring their timely completion
  • Ensuring that production processes are worked out under the set budget
  • Improving the present production procedures to increase productivity, quality, and revenues

Skills and Specifications –

  • Must have good logical skills and should be detail-oriented
  • Must be a team player and work coordinately with others
  • Must have good leadership and communication skills

Education and Qualifications –

The educational qualification required for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
