The job of a Marketing officer is to coordinate various marketing activities of an organization. His job consists of developing various marketing concepts, endorsements, managing special events and promotional seminars for a product or services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop good relations with media and staff.
  • Perform the duties assigned by the marketing manager.
  • Organize marketing campaigns.
  • Be present on all marketing events and presentations.
  • Give his assistance in achieving precise targets and objects planned by the company.
  • Maintain a communication between internal and external dealers.
  • Meet the deadlines given by the company.
  • Present his writing and proof reading skills under the guidance of marketing manager.
  • Provide satisfactory data to the marketing manager for valuable budgetary management of specific activities.
  • Ensure that there is proper distribution of all printed advertisements to all departments of the company.

For becoming a marketing officer one has to acquire a bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing field. MBA is preferred in majority of the companies.
