Product Marketing Manager Job Profile and Description

The job profile of a ‘Product Marketing Manager’ involves providing business line support to sketch out a marketing program, channel support, and sales support for a business. They have to report to the Product Management Director and, work with the sales, product development, customer and service departments to make sure that the marketing collateral reflects benefits from every user viewpoint and part. This position holds the responsibility of defining and delivering a product-marketing plan comprising an in-depth understanding of the market.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Developing industry specifications papers for developing product business case
  • Working with the product administrator to determine client or user requirements and personality.
  • Providing product positioning exercises and materials for revenue department and client support.
  • Identifying opportunities for prospecting and developing promotion security like case studies, data linens, whitepapers, FAQ, feature or benefit linens and so on.
  • Tracking client service, dashboard, achievement, consumer reviews, and client support to measure efficiency and employment of existing and new capabilities and features.
  • Developing consistent revenue demonstrations, suggestions, programs, etc.
  • Developing market specific global problem statements, using business cases, circumstances, giving recommendations and results with senior supervisors to assist in product map definition.
  • Designing and employing product releases for off-line and on the internet programs.
  • Managing city tours, exhibitions, company provided promotions and events.
  • Completing competitive analysis and offering ideas to Administrator.
  • Analyzing and taking efficiency achievement of advertising campaign.
  • Working with experts or correspondents to ensure coverage of PR in on the internet and print.
  • Supporting channel partners with revenue security, best methods, and exercising.
  • Collaborating cross functionally on competition costs, market development, selling and field solutions.

Skills and Specifications –

  • Should have good knowledge about sales, marketing and development processes.
  • Should have knowledge about sales support, project management and staff training skills.
  • Should know how to develop effective relationships and operate with senior level management.
  • Should have the qualities of out-of-the-box thinking, market research, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be creative and innovative in ideas
  • Should have excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure, and be ready to work extra hours
  • Proven knowledge in market and customer research

Education and Qualifications-

  • A Degree in marketing, business or any related field
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field from an accredited institution.
