The sports marketing team is responsible for managing and developing strategic partnerships, advertisements, promotions, direct emails, events and assessing these programs across various organizations, colleges and schools. The manager who takes care of sports marketing has to identify and manage key strategic partnerships while working in good terms and closely with the Marketing Director of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • He has to work inventively to brainstorm new thoughts in the market to progress the brand forward while maintaining the various attributes of products.
  • He has to market the products via promotions, advertising, merchandising, packaging, direct and interactive marketing, and customer events.
  • He should be able to define and develop catchy promotions to develop successful marketing campaigns, messages, banners.
  • He should be able to analyze and optimize campaign performance to improve maximum return on investment.
  • He should be able to impel the development of fundamental assets such as videos, online content, photos, etc.
  • He should be able to develop and deliver direct communications strategy to achieve customer retention and acquisition objectives.
  • He has to create and manage resource calendar in order to meet all the public relations and marketing milestones.
  • He has to create marketing strategy around target sports segments.
  • He should be able to manage the budget and create a marketing, performance and communication plan for all tactical partnerships.
  • He should be able to manage the daily implementation of marketing campaign resources, including sales, press, events, tradeshow, and so on.
  • He has to manage the request process of sponsorship after ensuring the effective provision of responses to all inquiries after enrolling the requests.
  • He is responsible for supervising the development and creation of promotions, events initiatives and sponsorships aligned to the consumer, brand, and business strategies in the process of generating awareness for the products.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated and sports enthusiast.
  • Able to operate independently on various tasks and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, excellent communication skills and solid project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with flexibility, high energy, patience and enthusiasm.
  • BA in Advertising, Marketing, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Degree in Marketing or Advertising related fields.
