A Geophysicist studies the atmosphere and earth and implements their knowledge in physics and geography to understand and solve problems relating to environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • They are basically scientists who are trained specifically to understand the problems relating to earth .
  • They comprehend the problems relating to the atmosphere and earth and try to rectify them or solve them with the help of engineers and atmosphere scientists.
  • Their main objective is to understand the problems relating to nature and relate them to the other concerned people.
  • He might also be posted in certain places to specifically study the atmosphere and prepare a detailed report on it.
  • He might be deputed on field to work on rock formations and soil and prepare comprehensive reports on it.
