Auto Sales Associate Job Profile and Description

The job of an Auto Sales Associate is challenging, competitive and requires dynamism. A professional of this profile is accountable for contributing towards the growth of the organization and establishing a positive market reputation. Auto sales associates also need to possess an orientation towards learning and work under the leadership of a sales manager and complete all assigned functions efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interacting with store buyers and giving them necessary product presentations.
  • Completing all assigned tasks and reporting to the supervisor.
  • Driving revenue into the organization and working in coordination with all team members
  • Assisting in the proper paperwork and transferring documentation of the vehicle.
  • Gathering market information on products and offerings of competitor companies.
  • Making sales strategies for meeting targets.
  • Giving buyer feedback, complaints and suggestions to the supervisor and the marketing team for promotional strategies.
  • Gathering a base of potential buyers for sale of vehicles.
  • Assisting in strategizing of promotional events for the showroom.

Skills and Specifications

  • Must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Must have good persuasive and interpersonal abilities for dealing with potential buyers.
  • Good time management skills with the ability of meeting all targets.
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or an associate’s degree in sales and marketing, advertising, engineering or any other related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Post Graduate degree in sales or marketing management or auto engineering with about 2 to 3 years experience in the field of automobile sales is preferred.
