Produce Clerk Job Profile and Description

This position caries the responsibility of ensuring smooth business operations in a store, this is an entry level position. On-the job training is provided before one actually stars working. They have to directly report to the manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining stock information of the products and resources of the shop.
  • Keeping track of all the sold items and placing purchase orders accordingly and, ensuring that the quality of the produce conforms with the company standards
  • Following and finishing all projects allocated by the administrator.
  • Reporting any damage loss or difference in the produce of the shop.
  • Maintaining hygiene and requirements of the office.
  • Ensuring proper storage and putting of all the produce and resources.
  • Checking accounts and confirming the produces accordingly.
  • Coordinating perform with other divisions of the company.

Skills and Specifications

  • Should have excellent written as well as spoken interaction capabilities.
  • Should have excellent systematic and calculative capabilities and basic book keeping knowledge.
  • Should have excellent time management skills and the capability to properly complete all allocated projects.
  • Should have capability of working in a team.

Education and Qualifications

  • A High school diploma
  • A Bachelor’s or an associate’s degree in retailing, merchandise management, warehousing or any other related field
  • Work experience as a clerk
