Sales Promotion Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the promotion and product managers to make sure that sales special offers ad campaigns are consistent with the corporate and company market image being developed.
  • Work closely with store floor revenue supervisors to achieve maximum effort in any sale special offers activity.
  • Marshall sales clerks and agents in the execution of any sales marketing tour or town wide campaign
  • Design and develop the periodic special offers for presentation and approval of senior control and co-workers in the promotion and product control level.
  • Secure approval from and collaboration of state and local authorities for any city-wide public participation of sales offers strategies.
  • Ensure that revenue special offers are within approved costs.

Sales Promotions Manager Skills and Specification

  • Must have creativeness and drive in implementing revenue marketing strategies and programs
  • Must have exceptional organization and managing skills with desire to perform beyond regular working hours and under pressure.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Sales Promotions Manager Education and Qualification

  • A BS degree in commerce, advertising, business administration, economics or related field
  • A master’s degree in business administration or management is a plus
  • Work experience 6 -10 years in sales and marketing function, with the last 3-5 years in a supervisory role is a plus
