The Fleet Directors are basically the administrative superiors in the field. He or she needs to oversee the managerial and administrative sector of the repair and maintenance of the vehicles. He or she has the responsibility to manage the overall operational jobs pertaining to the working and maintenance of the vehicles. He or she has to supervise all the persons who work under him or her.

Duties and Responsibilities

There are the following duties and responsibilities of a fleet director:

  • The fleet director has the main responsibility to plan, direct and coordinate the operation of the vehicles.
  • Hr or she needs to direct the maintenance and repairing of the vehicles falls.
  • It will be the responsibility to oversee the transit system by planning, directing and coordinating the system.
  • He or she is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning which he or she duly performs.

  • He or she has to receive and process the vehicular damage properly.
  • It will be the duty to carry out the repairing process perfectly.

  • The person needs to have a thorough and deep knowledge of management and operations.
  • He or she should have required knowledge of vehicular maintenance.
  • The person needs to be very good at administration and should have the required knowledge about the field.
  • He or she should be able to supervise the work properly.
  • The person needs to be very responsible for doing the job.

Education and Qualifications

  • The person needs to have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited in an appropriate curriculum that covers appropriate training programs.
  • It will be an added advantage for the person having five to ten years of past working experience in related field.
