An OD specialist acts like a change agent who gives support and provides directions to implement major changes in the operations of the business and facilitates the divisional strategic planning processes. An OD specialist means an organizational development specialist who is responsible for developing and implementing different business programs to align the work force and key company initiatives through organizational effectiveness guidance. He is like a head of the company and a consultant whereby he manages, identifies, develops and implements different business policies and procedures. He also needs to evaluate various commercial initiatives to find out the correct interventions required to meet the company’s objectives and create the required impact.

OD Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of an OD specialist will involve:

1.       Planning and scheduling different project timelines and deadlines.

3.       Helping to develop solutions to format data file, different process of analyzing data, and management reporting.

4.       Assisting the management in creating useful tactical design results evaluation methods.

5.       Overseeing and managing evaluation information record.

6.       Providing guidance to organization top brass on growth.

7.       Identifying and creating a management growth program to make sure all executives have the required skills to be successful.

8.       Facilitating exercises which lead to team building or programs which improve the bonding of teams.

5. For being OD specialist experience of minimum 5 years and more.
