Administrative Assistant Job Description

The job of an Administrative Assistant is top ovide administrative or secretarial support to the Manager in an organization. They have to perform general duties like attending visitors, completing secretarial works, answering calls, answering office emails, and handling vendors etc. They are the main liaison person that work as a chain between the staff and the various departments in an organization. They ensure proper office administration in a well manner.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Handling satff activities related to functional support of the unit.
  • Preparing transcriptions, writings, reports and, modifying and disseminating moments and times of numerous events.
  • Scheduling and coordinating interview, events, events, sessions, and other similar projects for managers.
  • Coordinating and keeping records for office work place, parking, mobile phones, company workplace important factors and cards.
  • Arranging and coordinating board events and conventions, and joining them.
  • Dealing with inbound calls, post, email, and faxes, and taking moments and dictation in events.
  • Organizing and keeping electronic and paper information and managing projects.
  • Liaising with providers, clients, and other personnel.
  • Providing positioning and training for new personnel, performing research on internet, managing, and trouble shooting new workplace technological innovation.
  • Negotiating with companies, keeping and analyzing rented equipment, purchasing supplies.

Skills and Specifications –

  • Knowledge of office processes, methods, and computer programs.
  • Proficient in typewriting and excellent at British grammar
  • Discretion, excellent verdict capability, convenient and flexible individual.
  • Organizational abilities or management capability.
  • Effective hearing and spoken interaction abilities.
  • Initiative and capability to operate independently.

Education and Qualifications –

  • A High school degree or Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Work experience in Administrative support activities is an advantage.
